Answers before you request coverage
Is SecurePoint licensed and insured?+
Yes. SecurePoint Security Services Inc. holds Ontario Security Agency Licence No. 30000299 and maintains commercial general liability insurance and WSIB compliance. Current supporting documents can be provided during quotation, contracting or vendor registration.
What areas do you serve?+
SecurePoint is based in Mississauga and provides security services across the GTA and other Ontario communities, subject to the location, schedule, assignment requirements and availability of suitable personnel.
What types of properties do you protect?+
We provide security services for condominiums, commercial properties, construction sites, warehouses, industrial facilities, retail locations, events, residences and other private properties.
Do you provide short-term or one-day coverage?+
Yes. We review short-term, temporary and one-day assignments, including events, shutdowns, fire watch, contractor access and urgent guard requests. Confirmation depends on the location, schedule, duties and availability of suitable personnel.
Can you provide 24-hour or overnight coverage?+
Yes. Round-the-clock, overnight, weekend and extended coverage can be arranged when requested. The proposed schedule, number of guards and reporting requirements will be confirmed in the quotation.
How quickly can security coverage begin?+
Start time depends on the location, hours, guard qualifications and complexity of the assignment. Urgent requests are reviewed promptly, but coverage is confirmed only after the duties, rate, schedule and available personnel have been verified.
How will I know the property is being monitored?+
Reporting is agreed before the assignment begins. Depending on the site, this may include daily activity logs, patrol records, incident reports, shift updates and direct notification when an urgent concern is identified.
What duties can your guards perform?+
Duties may include access control, visitor and contractor verification, lobby or front-desk presence, foot patrols, perimeter and parking checks, fire watch, event entry, incident response and site documentation. Final duties are written into the post orders for the assignment.
Do your guards carry weapons?+
SecurePoint's standard security services are unarmed. Every assignment is performed in accordance with Ontario law, company policy and the duties approved for the site.
Can you customize the security plan for our site?+
Yes. We review the property, schedule, access points, main concerns, required duties and reporting expectations before proposing coverage. A site walkthrough can also be arranged where appropriate.
Can SecurePoint provide vendor and additional-insured documents?+
Yes. We can provide current licensing, insurance, WSIB and company documentation for vendor review. Additional-insured documentation can be arranged when required, subject to the applicable insurance process and approval.
Do you provide mobile patrols and alarm response?+
Yes. Mobile patrols can include scheduled or varied property visits, exterior checks, perimeter observations and documented patrol activity. Alarm response is arranged only after procedures, contacts and site access are confirmed.
Do you provide fire-watch coverage?+
Yes. Fire-watch coverage can be arranged around the property's written requirements, patrol areas, frequency, emergency contacts, start time and expected duration.
What information do you need for a quote?+
Please provide the service location, type of property, requested dates and hours, number of guards if known, expected duties and any immediate concerns. If some details are undecided, we can discuss them with you.
How do I request a quote?+
